Metal?
You do realize that there's a "video game music" section at the audio portal correct? Let's use our resources shall we. Otherwise it was so-so.

Couldn't hear
The drums, while sounding great, drowned out the guitars. Otherwise it was a pretty good one.
Hey, you gotta make some compromises when you're running your own sound. Besides, I was still tweaking a new Shure Beta 52 bass mike at the time.
Yes, we are all using fake drums
Get over it. Anyway, my review for True Black Metal was supposed to be for the Meaty Chunks Revised I think. I hit the wrong link so I actually listened to the black metal one as well and this is the correct review for it. Anyway, it was still repetitive, you seem to play the main riff over and over and simply layer some more stuff over it. It doesn't sound bad but it isn't heavy. The black metal one was good though, as my numbers indicate, and much better than "Meaty Chunks" anyway. Later.
Ok
Hard Ass
I commend you. The more stuff I listen to, the more I like your stuff. Anyway, nice job, lets hear some lyrics maybe? Alright, later then.

Not horrible
This was very repetitve. Also, I could hear the white noise in the center when the car-honking left panned guitar comes in. The only thing you really did was stay on beat with the shredding. You have skill but you didn't use it on this track. Sorry.
There was no shredding there dude ;D. I wish I could shred...but alas...i cant ;D.
Yes it was repetitive...and yes...it sucks. Meh.

Finally, something good in NG metal.
Heh, you use Cakewalk Guitar Tracks 2 don't you? I recognized those drums right off lol. Very good though. Very much my type of music. Check out my audio, I think we're alike. Nice trem-picking, I just got to that part. Anyway, nice stuff. Later.

Not bad
K here we go. This was good but there were a few things that could've made it better. The intro to this was boring and nearly stopped listening, however it got better as it went on and the finishing riff was very good. Also, this is not heavy metal in the heavy metal category but that's not really a problem. It's good about what you said about the originality 'cause this sounded really really close to something from the Quake 2 soundtrack...but the Quake 2 soundtrack is awesome so I can't blame you for that. Overall this had a good effect with it building up from nearly nothing to a pretty kick ass riff at the end. Good job.

Thanks for your review.
I like this one a lot, I have all sorts of ideas to re-release it on newgrounds with new effects and a bridge. I thought it sounded like some Rage-ish-ness.
Ok here we go
There are many reasons why you shouldn't have submitted this, but it could've been worse.
1. Anyone who wants this passage of the song can simply rip it from the cd.
2. This sounds like a first draft with little to no effort at all.
3. Sound quality was terrible. But this is understandable because not everyone can record using $60+ programs.
4. This is not an original composition.
However I think if you just put a little effort and maybe some time into it you could write and record a decent sounding loop or track to submit. Just be a little more careful.

Really creepy
But could've been better. I liked the drum beat all the way through. Some of the keyboards (I think they're keyboards anyway lol) could've been used differently. The background haunting type keyboard was great esp. when it broke off into just that riff playing. Good work.

Powerful Sound
Reminded me of Static-X (without the metal). I like the NIN thing there around the end. Overall great job.
